All Ambassadors, Managers, PA's and the Learning department (Heather is what makes that place function, not kidding) all worked really well together and got along great. When Amazon assigns you a department you are stuck there for at least 90 days before you can see if you are able to transfer to another department, and that's only if they have the room to bring you to their side. Many would leave right then and there which made it easier to focus and give those who were able to handle the job and who read the description of the jobs. The heights never bothered me since I have never been afraid of them, but after being asked to become an Ambassador for our 3rd shift back half nights Picking department I finally saw why they made it so very clear in the application that you HAVE TO BE OK WITH THEM! I can't tell you how I would start training anywhere from 10 to 30 new pickers each week and after they were told they would have to drive the cherry picker to the ceiling multiple times a night while bending over grabbing things off the racks to put in your cage people would loose it. When they say that you have to be ok with heights they aren't kidding!!! I personally was a Picker which is outbound and was required to learn to drive a cherry picker.
The friends I had met pretty much became my family since we worked so closely together.
I worked here for the first 8 months it had opened, I can say that I loved it as much as I hated it at times.
